OPARC’s “Parents in the Know”, is a comprehensive initiative aimed at keeping parents and care providers of those we serve informed about the changes happening at OPARC. Our goal is to provide access to essential resources and opportunities for interaction, such as in-person or zoom meetings, where families and care providers can ask important questions about programming changes and receive expert answers.

Renew It or Lose It: Medical Eligibility Renewals Start April 1!
Medi-Cal eligibility renewals, paused during the pandemic, will resume on April 1, 2023. Keep your contact information updated with your local county office to receive renewal letters. Local county offices will attempt to renew your Medi-Cal using available information. For those with SSI, Social Security handles Medi-Cal renewals. The state has 14 months to complete the renewal process for all beneficiaries. Read more about the renewels at the link below!
