OPARC has remained CARF accredited since 1976
Montclair-based nonprofit OPARC received their most recent CARF accreditation and was one of only 3% worldwide with the performance they had against CARF’s high standards. They received no recommendations for improvements.
CARF provides accreditation services worldwide with the mission to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of persons served. Providers that meet their standards have demonstrated their commitment to being among the best available.
Based in Montclair since 1950, OPARC has a mission to support, employ, and transform the lives of people with disabilities. OPARC serves more than 850 adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in Southern California by offering critical employment and developmental programs. They are known for remarkable success in finding jobs for participants and ensuring success through ongoing training, guidance, and supervision.
While OPARC is one of the largest vendors under contract with the San Gabriel/Pomona and Inland Regional Centers, it cannot provide its enhanced day program and employment services without funding support from wonderful partners and donors.
