Discover Your Strengths

Employment Services

Every person deserves the chance to discover their strengths and feel proud of the work they do. Oparc’s Employment Services open that door by offering pathways that match each person’s interests, abilities, and goals. Whether someone is exploring work for the first time or ready to build a long term career, we provide the guidance, training, and encouragement that help confidence grow.

For those who want to learn more about the types of work they enjoy, our Work Experience program provides a supportive place to explore different roles, learn practical skills, and build independence. Participants can try real tasks in real settings with a team that offers steady guidance and encouragement so they feel secure as they grow.

Pathways to Employment

For those who thrive in shared experiences, our Supported Employment Group program brings small teams together in real community settings. Participants work side by side with their Job Coaches who offer steady support while everyone practices responsibility, communication, and teamwork.

When someone is ready for greater independence, our Individual Placement program helps them move into competitive employment. Job Developers partner one on one to create resumes, strengthen interview skills, search for jobs, and celebrate each opportunity. Once hired, participants continue to receive tailored coaching that helps them learn their role, supports their job retention, and helps them feel secure in their workplace.

Lasting Support, Meaningful Outcomes

Across all services, our purpose remains the same. We honor each person’s talent, offer support that adapts to their needs, and create opportunities for meaningful work. The strength of our long-term coaching and steady guidance shows the stability people achieve. Participants in Supported Employment Group roles hold their jobs on average for over seven years, and those in Independent Placement roles remain employed for an average of nearly 2 years! Families find reassurance in knowing their loved one is supported. Donors and partners help open doors that lead to real progress and pride. Together, we build futures where every person belongs and contributes with confidence.
