Explore Program

Explore is a fully community-based program designed for participants who want to learn, grow, and build independence through real-world experiences. Participants choose the activities that match their goals and interests, then head into the community to enjoy those experiences with support that helps confidence grow.

This program offers opportunities to gain employment, volunteer, build job skills, practice daily living skills, develop social skills, and stay active through recreation and fitness. Every activity takes place in natural settings such as parks, stores, libraries, volunteer sites, local businesses, and community centers, which helps participants feel comfortable navigating the world around them.

A Program Built on Choice

Choice is at the core of Explore. Participants decide how they want to spend their day and what skills they want to focus on, with staff providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed. Whether someone wants to prepare for employment, build friendships, increase independence, or explore new interests, the program adapts to their goals.

Explore is a great fit for individuals who are curious about their community, enjoy being active, and want a learning experience that takes place in everyday environments.
