Adult Day Programs

Oparc’s Adult Development Day Programs in Montclair, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building independence, confidence, and connections. Each program is licensed by the State of California and is grounded in a person-centered philosophy in which participants have a voice and choice in how they spend their day.

Personalized Days, Meaningful Experiences

At Oparc, every day is built around the person. Participants collaborate with caring staff to set personal goals and discuss activities that reflect their interests, strengths, and aspirations. A typical day offers a mix of activities that support personal growth. Participants might take part in fitness or wellness sessions, join academic, social, creative, or recreational experiences, enjoy community outings, build new skills, or volunteer with local partners. Individuals choose what matters most to them because their goals shape their journey.

Our staff serve as partners, helping participants pursue growth at their own pace while honoring personal preferences and abilities. This approach creates a supportive environment where each person is respected, seen, and encouraged to take an active role in their own success.

A Supportive Community for Growth

Families often share that they feel safe leaving their loved ones here and that they see a steady rise in confidence as participants become more engaged and independent. Friendship is a meaningful part of the experience, and many participants look forward to spending time with peers who share their interests and goals. Our Day Programs are meaningful spaces where people are respected, encouraged, and supported as they shape the life they want for themselves with purpose, belonging, and steady personal growth.
