Oparc offers three specialized behavioral support programs located in Walnut, Upland, and San Bernardino. These programs are designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who benefit from additional guidance in building positive skills and navigating complex behaviors.
Participants receive individualized coaching and support to build confidence, improve communication, and succeed in everyday situations. Staff work alongside each person in a respectful and encouraging way, helping them learn strategies that make daily life feel safer, calmer, and more manageable.

Skill development may include learning to express needs effectively, strengthening social skills, practicing coping tools, and building self-awareness, which can lead to fewer behavioral incidents over time. Participants take part in self-advocacy meetings, employment, fitness and wellness sessions, creative or recreational experiences, community outings, skill-building workshops, or volunteer opportunities.
The goal of this program is to help participants grow in ways that increase their independence and sense of well being. With the right support, individuals can take part in activities they enjoy, strengthen their pre vocational and employment skills, feel more comfortable in social settings, and experience success both inside the program and in the broader community.
